Week 22: Nous sommes arrives en France!!!

Firstly, I can't find the accent symbol for the e in 'arrives'-sorry. Secondly, we have finally crossed and are in France.

This week's entry will be short and sweet as we have only crossed today and we will let you know about the journey to Spain in next week's blog.

In summary, it all went to plan. Bear had his stitches out and Duncan, the surgeon, was happy with his progress and gave him 'sign-off'to head to Spain. Bear gave him lots of kisses to say 'thank-you'. He still has a fur-less bum and knee but it now looks silky rather than just skin. Bear also got his Health Certificate to travel and we had negative Covid tests. We had originally planned to try and 'catch-up' with friends when back in Oxford but to ensure our Covid tests were negative and all went to plan, we in effect put ourselves into isolation...

Otherwise, the van is packed full and we are trundling along. Our selection of random items include: about 4 months worth of dog food, a snorkel (Steve's not Bear's), a Karcher window cleaner, a good amount of mature cheddar cheese (I like cheese but not smelly cheese) this tends to be expensive in France, a Go Pro and my exercise weights are still on board!!

Ohh and finally, we were so early for our crossing (not saying anything... Steve) that they let us cross an hour early this morning, seems they were not very busy at 6.20am out of school holidays!
