...and we're off!

The Summer has been busy with meeting up with friends, before 'blitzing' the house and heading off.

As an avid anti-clutter enthusiast (me not Steve!), the house has been cleaned, re organised and cleared out. All the jobs you never get to have been completed...cleaning under the sofa, hoovering the mattress. I do understand others think I am unhinged. The garden and 'Gordon' have also had the same treatment. I've even repaired the garden wall; repointing and building. Steve was still working until yesterday. Now, as I write this I wonder if he had pre-planned this, to avoid the big clean? Maybe it wasn't really to avoid the school holidays and the 'staycation'.

However, today finally arrived. The van is very full.. eek! I am sure there are other motorhomes on the road with weighing scales, a set of dumbbells, a kite and drone. All essentials?

Even poor Bear had to make some hard decisions about which of his toys he could bring, he didn't understand that ALL his coats, towels, food, bedding and treats would not fit. He got to bring some home made banana and peanut butter biscuits.

Today we headed to Essex, seeing my Aunt and Uncle on the way. My parents and brother then came over to the campsite this evening and completed the weekly Covid quiz in person, our quiz has been going weekly since March 2020!
